The World in 400 Years

In four hundred years I see the world as a very different place. Mostly with advancements in technology people will be able to complete tasks more efficiently, effectively involving less effort. With this said I think that people will start to heavily rely on these technological advancements and the way people think and do things will change. With them relying so much on these things I think people will start to get lazy and less active as they would not have to work at something because of these inventions that they use to do the work for them. People will probably get over weight and less healthy, because of this lack of movement and work needed to remain fit and healthy. Also with social media being around so long by then, I think that it would then become apart of human life for communicating with one another. As people would find it easier to sit and their computer or what ever they might have then to talk to each other than actually going out and meeting each other. Already we see this in our society except at a lesser state. People much less frequently call each other to actually talk to them. Instead they just text or chat with them on facebook as it is much quicker for them. With this lack of true connection from one another people could change in the way they interact. People may not gain the proper social skills that develop over time as you communicate and some people might not be able to express themselves which each other as we can today. In conclusion I see society in four hundred years being much easier and efficient then today but with these advancements which would bring this efficiencies will hamper the growth of humans.

Found Poem

Have you seen this dog?

He is...
Like a gentleman and a scholar
Like a warlock from mars
Like Chuck Norris' Beard
Like a one punch knockout
Like seeing you favorite band rock your world in a live concert
I'm asking because I want this dog

We wanted to make a relatively funny poem so people who would walk by would smile or laugh and have a better day.

Painting Haiku

Suffering Sailor
Lost out in the dark blue sea
To what he just read

The message is that the sailor is suffering from the news he just read.

What is Love

What is love...

Going to a movie you don’t want to see, that is love
Thinking about them when they are not here, that is love
Lending your only jacket on a cold day, that is love
Feeling that you are not alone, that is love
Doing anything for them, that is love
Not worried of speaking your mind, that is love
Staying up late talking to them online, that is love
Watching your phone until they text you back, that is love
Smiling when you think of them, that is love
Seeing them makes you day better, that is love
Learning something they like, that is love
Carrying their bags with out a word, that is love
Doing anything to impress them, that is love
Loving even their flaws, that is love
Not being able to think of all the things you like about them, that is love
Enjoying every second they are with you, that is love
When you don’t care what you do as long as your doing it with them, that is love
When your heart crumbles when you see them sad, that is love
Being the best you can be when your are with them, that is love
When you always look forward to the next time you spend with them , that is love

This is love...

Why I like a Physical Lifestyle

Being active in your life is one of the most important things you can do for your life. It keeps you fit and it also keeps you healthy. I play hockey either three or four times weekly. It is tiring but at the same time it is very fun and enjoyable. Being on a hockey team for me is very enjoyable because I love the game and I know that what I am doing is very beneficial to my health. Being physical also helps with meeting new people and friends. While playing hockey I have met many other people my age and have become good friends with them. It is always fun to go to the rink have a good time with my teammates. While lots of sedentary things can be done with friends, they are not quite the same as playing a sport with friends. Being physical to me is very important and I enjoy doing it.
